Student Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

Morning Arrival

Parents may park their vehicle or use the large circular driveway in front of the school to drop off their child(ren). 

PARKING IN THE STAFF PARKING LOT AND BUS AREA IS PROHIBITED!

7:45 AMStudent arrival begins. There is no student supervision before this time. Under NO CONDITION should a child be left at our school before 7:30 AM.
7:45-8:15 AM Cafeteria is open for FREE breakfast.
7:45 AMMain Gate opens for entry into the building by students. Parents are not allowed into the building unless they have a Visitor’s Pass issued by the main office.
8:20 AMLate bell for students in VPK, Kindergarten and 1st grades. Students in these grades will be marked tardy if they are not in their clas at this time. 
8:35 AMLate bell for students in 2nd to 5th grades. Student in these grades will be marked tardy if they are not in their class at this time.

Afternoon Dismissal

A Dismissal Pass must be shown to school staff or displayed on the vehicle’s dashboard in order to receive the student.  NO PASS, NO STUDENT.  Replacement passes may be issued by the main office with a photo ID. Please inform your child’s teacher if you need additional passes.

1:50 PMDismissal for students in VPK, Kindergarten and 1st grades.
– VPK and Kindergarten will dismiss from the north door entrance of the main building.
– First grade students will dismiss through the main gate. 
3:05 PMDismissal for students in 2nd to 5th grades.
– 2nd and 3rd grade students will be dismissed from the main gate.
– 4th and 5th grade students will be dismissed from the courtyard gates.

ALL STUDENTS ARE DISMISSED AT 1:50 PM ON WEDNESDAYS.

1st grade students only will be dismissed from the Media Center on Wednesdays only.

Rainy Day Procedures

Students will be dismissed in the same manner as regular days.  In case of lightning, strong winds or inclement weather, students will not be dismissed and must picked up by an authorized adult at the main gate.

Early Release of Students

Students must be in school a minimum of 2 hours in order to be counted present for the school day.  Board Rule 5200

As per School Board Rule, students may not be released early from school within the last 30 minutes of school.  Board Rule 5200

After School Care

After School Care is available for students who require extended school day supervision.  For more information please see our Parents section.
