Caregiver And Children 6-Week Skills-Training Program – FIU 

The Coping Power Program, which is conducted in-person and in English at the CCF, is a six-week skills training program for children in grades 4-7 (ages 9-14) and their caregivers. The program focuses on developing skills in children such as coping with anger and problem solving; increasing self-control; and goal setting; caregiver sessions increase the use of positive discipline strategies, communication and reducing stress. The program is set to start the week of 10-14-2025 and end on 12-2-2025 Tuesdays 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.. with a cost of $250.00 which includes three individual sessions. Attached is a flyer with additional information.
