The Division of Academics, Department of English Language Arts in collaboration with the M-DCPS Parent Academy, will conduct webinars titled “How to Support Reading at Home”. The webinars will take place virtually as follows:
Tuesday, January 27, at 9am and 6pm in English
Wednesday, January 28, at 9am and 6pm in Haitian-Creole
Thursday, January 29, at 9am and 6pm in Spanish
In this webinar, we will explore the essential components of reading and share strategies for parents and guardians to support literacy at home. We’ll also highlight additional resources available to families to foster a love of reading.
